Building a generation of mature Christ-centered men who will transform their communities
At Ethnos Leaders, our mission is to provide professional, emotional, and spiritual support to young men who have professed their faith in Christ but face heavy obstacles that block their path.
We want to cultivate these young men into leaders who take initiative and action for Christ.
Provide Biblical accountability and discipleship support from local churches and coaches.
Support men with ongoing professional therapy and pastoral counseling.
Create opportunities to obtain professional licenses and certifications in their desired field.
We’re excited to introduce you to a few of the remarkable young men who are embarking on a journey of faith, leadership, and transformation with Ethnos Leaders. They represent the next generation of coaches, mentors, and Kingdom influencers.
Joca
João came to the US in 2017 to play soccer at the collegiate level and obtain a degree. Joao graduated in 2023 with a degree in Business Sports Management. João wants to become a professional soccer coach.
“I grew up in Recife, Brazil, very far from the Lord. All I wanted was to become a soccer player. I never knew that I could use soccer as a tool to transform people’s lives. Ethnos Leaders has helped me gain confidence in my coaching abilities, as well as provided support with an accountability group and friends to grow in the Lord.”
CL
As a former college baseball player, CL desires to promote spiritual, emotional, and physical health to young men by becoming a personal trainer, and an elite strength and conditioning coach.
“Growing up in a so-called “rough” area of town, I was destined to ruin. God had different plans for me. As a product of my environment, I made terrible decisions that affected my growth in many areas. Now, I want to make sure guys do not make the same mistakes by making sure they are loved and supported by other faithful men.
Abraham
Abraham came to America as a 5-year-old refugee from Ethiopia. His parents were forced to flee from a war in Eritrea. Abraham desires to use soccer as a tool to reach the Kunama tribe in America.
“I want to see my community changed in America so the kids do not have to go through the same things I have. It was very hard growing up in a community where you do not feel like you belong, and it is hard to believe that we can get better”
Gabriel
Gabriel is from Brazil and came to the United States as an international student in 2022. He is currently pursuing a Business degree while playing soccer.
“I grew up in the church. I want to see people coming to the Lord. I believe that I can use recreational activities to gather people and create communities of believers helping each other.”
Elias
When he was 13, Elias arrived in the United States as a refugee from Zambia. Elias did not speak English and was unfamiliar with the culture. Making friends was a challenge for him and he struggled immensely emotionally during his high school years.
“Soccer really helped me feel part of a community and I was always happy when I played. I was able to meet wonderful coaches who inspired me to use soccer to help the kids around my community.”
Let us challenge you with this: the young men that we want to partner with already know Christ and have the desire to invest their time in becoming future disciple-makers in their communities.
Will you now walk alongside them and help lay the foundation to become disciple-makers for Christ?
We currently have a group of 10 men who have joined Ethnos Leaders. Our mission is to grow and expand that number of 10 into hundreds and beyond. We have faith that the Lord will provide the hearts and that our mission will be fulfilled.
We would like to provide these services FREE of charge to these young men.
Would you consider praying for us as we embark on this mission?
We are a non-profit currently partnered with KC UNDERGROUND.
We believe that you can come alongside this mission in many ways. Our sincere prayer is that the Lord guide you in how to support this vision. Please contact us for more info or click below to partner with us financially.
